We loved our stay with Andrew and Michelle! Their property is amazing and offers beautiful views and a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy. The seperate accommodation area has everything you need to so you keep to yourselves if you wish. The bed is very comfortable, great shower and a TV with over 200 movies stored on it and board games means you will never get bored!
We spent time exploring the garden, playing with the friendly dogs and visiting the Alpacas!
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a spot that offers peace and quiet and serene beauty!
We will be back!

Michelle and Andrew's place is very hard to fault. It's in a stunningly beautiful and relaxing location and the space itself is comfortable and luxurious. The al fresco area with the barbecue and wood fire is every bit as lovely as it looks, and because it has clear blinds which keep the heat in it's still a cosy space on a chilly evening. Their two little dogs are adorable and very well behaved. Although we spent a bit of time out of the area because of coordinating with friends, the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly just relaxing with a barbecue, the fire and a glass of wine. Andrew and Michelle are communicative but the layout of the property means you still feel very much in your own space. Highly recommended for a relaxing trip to a beautiful part of Victoria.
We loved our visit to Pennyroyal Valley View. The garden was fabulous, I’m completely jealous! Great communication and very clean. There was some lovely touches at the end of our days. We couldn’t fault a thing. We hope to visit again soon.
We had such a wonderful stay! Thank you so much. We absolutely love your garden and the location/view, and the wonderful little touches. We are still cooking with your produce and from the region.💕 We feel privileged to have visited your wonderful property. We hope to visit again sometime soon.

Highly recommend this stay. I’ve had the most relaxing days staying there. Perfect location for a getaway and 20 minutes from Lorne main strip. Words can’t describe how fantastic this stay was. Definitely staying there again soon Thank you for the hospitality, your house is wonderful

We loved staying here. Michelle and Andrew's place has great views and a magnificent edible garden that takes you away from where you came from in an instant. In the morning there were freshly picked boysenberries and raspberries, and the peaches were amazing. We were there with an 18 month year old and the place (i.e. garden) was a little heaven for him. The accommodation is very clean and is very well insulated: it felt very comfortable when nights turned chilly. There is a wood fired fire place that you can use (and a BBQ). Andrew had some great suggestions for local markets and where to ride our bikes (rather than on the very busy Great Ocean Road). A great alternative of you don't want to stay in Lorne, but want to be close.

We had a lovely two night stay at Michelle and Andrew's in August 2018. The weather was a mixed bag but we still had an amazing time. Everyone says the area is nicer in summer so we will have to come back, but we are winter people and had a great time! The house itself was very comfortable and cosy. Nice clean bathroom, really comfortable bed and couch, and a well appointed kitchenette. Lots of little details thought of – fruit and snacks from the garden, tea coffee etc. The heater was effective and made the place cosy, and I particularly loved having an electric blanket. The property is incredible – alpacas and two friendly dogs (had lots of cuddles with Elvis in particular!), and chooks are all about. We were also greeted by two happy kangas and their joey as we drove in, and saw two echidnas hanging out in one of the paddocks. The property is next to some state forest which is lovely for a short walk. They have built the place on the hill set far back from the road, so you get great views but also peace and quiet for a good sleep. We had the gourmet brekky and it was really good - lovely honey and yoghurt and poached fruits, as well as toast and eggs from the chooks! It stayed windless long enough that we were able to use the fire and have the blinds down on our second night and it was so cosy cooking our barbecue, playing board games and drinking wine in front of the open fire - then toasting marshmallows for dessert! The bbq pack was amazing. Andrew brought out some home grown and home brined olives, followed by incredible local meat for us to cook ourself, and two delicious salads made with roast veggies and leaves from their garden. He had also provided some really tasty condiments. The only sad part of the evening was Ollie and Elvis wanting to come and join us but looking longingly at us through the closed blinds. I’d highly recommend Andrew and Michelle’s for a getaway. The property is a bit out of the way, so possibly if you are wanting to go out at night a lot you may want to be a more confident country driver than I am, but if you are planning on staying in and being cosy it’s ideal. We went to Brae on our first night and Michelle and Andrew organised a transfer by a local resident which meant we could both have a drink and not worry about getting back in the dark! Hopefully we can find an excuse to go back!

We had a fabulous time at Michelle & Andrews! Great space with fab recommendations from Andrew. Really lovely touches through out(with local wines/condiments) and fresh grapefruits/lemons from the garden. Lovely place to get away from the city with walking trails around the property. Would highly recommend and would love to visit during the Summer months next time!

The garden suite at Pennyroyal Valley View served as an ideal base for exploring the Otway Harvest Trail and other area attractions during the final 5 days of our 5 week Australia visit, February-March 2018. Michelle and Andrew have created a garden paradise on their 40 acres overlooking the spectacular Pennyroyal Valley. The decor of the “guest suite” was contemporary, non-cluttered and artsy; the sofa and bed were very comfortable. The entire property was lovingly maintained, neat and clean. Since we are “foodies” who travel with our own knives, sharpener and refrigerator thermometer, we especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with quality cookware. It was fun preparing and cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen surrounded by gorgeous gardens, bird song and the warmth of a wood burning fireplace. During our stay we ate “in season” produce from their organic garden: honey from their bees, passion fruit, apples, tomatoes, greens, & zucchini. Having area wines available for purchase was convenient. Some activities during our stay: hiked to Elizabeth Lake, walked around the Colac Botanical Garden, enjoyed pies fresh from the oven at the Store in Dean’s Marsh, visited several wineries, walked the coastal trail at Airey’s Inlet, watched surfers at Bell’s Beach, enjoyed music and wine on Sunday afternoon at Gosling Creek, checked out little shops in Birregurra.

We stayed three nights at Pennyroyal Valley View over the Easter long weekend. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Extra touches such as snacks, a wide range of tea and some breakfast provisions made our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend the BBQ dinner pack, plenty of delicious local and home grown food. Thanks Michelle and Andrew for your hospitality!
